A Good Spring Break's Memory

          One of the good memory in Spring vacation is going to Hokkaido when I graduated from the junior high school. My family traveled as graduation trip for my twin brother and me. It is my first trip to Hokkaido, so I really enjoyed it. We enjoyed sightseeing, skiing, taking hot spring and eating local food. Especially, I was surprised at local sea food. I love sea food and my favorite sea food is salmon roe. At the hotel buffet, there was heaping salmon roe. Local dish in Hokkaido is so delicious and dynamic! Also, a vast snowy landscape was very beautiful and moving. It taught me the greatness of nature.

A Good New Year's Memory

           I go to Tokyo dome to watch Rice ball on January 3rd every year. Rice ball is the name of American football game playing the champion of college league and company league. My families are looking forward to the event because the top player's game is very exciting! We can watch a lot of super plays. We cheered the college league champion team; Kanseigakuin univercity, but the company league champion; Fujitsu won. However, it was nice game. Also, the half time show is amusing, too. In this year's show, Shimazu Aya who is a great singer participating "Kohaku Uta Gassen" sang. I was so moving and this year's Rice ball became more nice memory than usual.

A Good Winter Memory

        My good winter memory is skiing. My family went to ski many times in the season by the time  I was a junior high school student. But unfortunately, in the past few years, we can't go because my brother and I became busy. We stayed the same hotel every year, so there is a place full of memories. My father and my mother love ski and they are good skier. My brother and I taught by my parents and became good. We skied the whole day and ate delicious dinner, and took hot spring baths everyday during our stay. It is very good memory. I hope to go to ski with my family this season.

OYO: My favorite sports

I like doing and watching sports. Especially, my favorite sports is table tennis, valley ball, skiing and American Football because my families and I do it. Recently, I often watch American Football Games of "NFL". American Football is not popular in Japan, but it is very interesting and exciting! Although the rule is so difficult, there are various tactics. The plays are powerful and amazing. I hope that American Football became more popular in Japan.

My favorite music artist

There are many singers I like. I belong to the acoustic music circle and play the guitar and piano, so I listen various kinds of music. Especially, I like acoustic music and J-pops. My most favorite artist is Aimyon. She is very cool, cute and attractive. Her voice is so expressive. Moreover, she is also a very good songwriter. She has a good sense of word choosing. Some of her lyrics is unique and radical, but that is just her attractive point. I'm looking forward to seeing her at the live at the end of the year!

A place I want to visit

One of the place I want to visit is Taiwan. There are many attractive spots and delicious food. Taiwanese are very kind to Japanese and some of them can speak Japanese. It is so convenient for Japanese tourists who can’t speak English or Chinese very well. Also, Taiwan is very close from Tokyo, so I can go easily. A lot of my friends have been to Taiwan and recommend me to visit. The place I want to visit the most is Jiufen. That is the stage of “Spirited Away” (Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi) which is a Ghibli’s movie. I love Ghibli’s movie! So I want to visit the places and enjoy the atmosphere. Another place I want to visit is Machu Picchu that is the stage of “Laputa Castle in the Sky”. Machu Picchu is the ancient ruins of Inca. Its altitude is 2,430 meters. Tourists have a very hard time reaching there, but I hope to visit there! Machu Picchu is must be majestic and mysterious.

Self-Introduction

My name is Nao Matsuo. I live in Kanagawa with my parents and my twin brother, but my brother is studying in California to study English. I'm so jealous because I've never been abroad. My school major is Human Environmental science, but I study various fields for example Anthropology, Ecosystem science, Architecture theory and psychology. My hobby is playing the guitar and piano. I belong to the acoustic music circle. I'm doing my best at practice for Waseda Festival on the next weekend. I have no pets but I like animals especially dog. Someday, I want to have a dog.
